Membership Forms

Full Membership is open to
$77.00 (inc. GST)
To become a full member of the Bankstown GP Division the GP must work principally in general practice in the Bankstown LGA; and have met the requirements for registration as a medical practitioner with the NSW Medical Board and are currently registered with the NSW Medical Board.
The rights of Full Members include
- to vote at meetings of the Division;
- to be eligible to be elected to the Board;
- to nominate themselves and/or another Full Member to the Board;
- as determined by the Board, to be eligible for payment for participation in a Division sanctioned activity;
- subject to meeting the criteria established by the Sydney South West Area Health Service, to be eligible to participate in Shared Care programs; and
- subject to the payment of the appropriate membership fees and the satisfaction of full membership criteria,
Associate Membership is open to:
$61.60 (inc. GST)
- medical students;
- retired doctors (i.e. doctors not currently registered with a medical board);
- General Practitioners who work principally in general practice outside the Bankstown LGA;
- all other medical practitioners (including, but not limited to, RMOs, and medical and surgical specialists) who have met the requirements for registration as a medical practitioner with the NSW Medical Board and who are currently registered with the NSW Medical Board, but who do not fulfil the criteria for Full Membership or Registrar Membership;
- Allied Health Professionals; and
- Practice Staff.
The rights of Associate Members are:
- the right to attend meetings of the Division, but this right does not include the right to vote;
- subject to meeting the criteria established by the Sydney South West Area Health Service, to be eligible to participate in Shared Care programs; and
- subject to payment of the appropriate membership fees
Registrar Membership
$0.00
Registrar Membership is open to registrars on the Institute of General Practice Education Incorporated Training Program ("IGPE Training Program") and who have met the requirements for registration as a medical practitioner with the NSW Medical Board and who are currently registered with the NSW Medical Board.
The rights of the Registrar Members are:
- to attend meetings of the Division, but this right does not include the right to vote; and
- subject to meeting the criteria established by the Sydney South West Area Health Service, to be eligible to participate in Shared Care programs.
