Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

This program offers GP’s avenues for their continuing professional development. A variety of topics that are, and will enhance clinical knowledge and update them on the latest treatment options available in the areas of chronic disease, mental health, antenatal, aged care, immunisation. Other topics are identified through our annual evaluation and annual survey.

The CPD program also supports Practice Nurses, Practice Staff, in their role in General Practice.

The Division runs ‘hands on’ workshops on information management training to enhance practice capacity to roll out register, recall and reminder systems and enhance, capture, collect and transfer data within the practice to the Division and other stakeholders. 

Support GP wellbeing through education sessions which support professional, physical and mental health in the GP workforce.

The Division also offers education at weekend conferences, and small group learning sessions concentrating on topics of interest to smaller numbers of GP’s.
